The Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival Fundraiser takes place at the National Maritime Museum Cornwall (NMMC) from 7pm on Saturday 1st March 2025.This popular event features four legendary local groups, The Lemonaires, Month's Advance, ACapella Moonshine and The Oggymen.
Get ready for a rollicking, rousing evening of shanties and Cornish songs starting with The Lemonaires! Next up, Month's Advance, a singing duo also playing double bass and the violin with a quirky take on shanties and a bit of history and local knowledge thrown in. Then, welcome Falmouth's very own original ladies' shanty group, ACapella Moonshine, to the stage. Finally, the night closes with no introduction needed... the legendary Oggymen!
There is also the opportunity to buy raffle tickets on the night to win various exciting prizes from generous local businesses.
The fundraiser is designed to help raise funds for the Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival which takes place from 13th-15th June 2025.
