Fall Leaves Ride for October 25, 2025The time of the year is approaching for the changing of the leaves and we have an annual ride up through the mountains
of north Georgia and North Carolina. My ride for this year will be through Northeast Georgia and into North Carolina.
I am planning on us all getting together at the Best Buy parking in Alpharetta, GA at the intersection of Northpoint Pkwy
and Haynes Bridge Road. The exact address is 975 North Point Drive, Alpharetta, GA 30022. Please plan to be there by
8:30 AM for a short debrief and then we will depart by 9:00AM.
Overall, the ride is expected to be about 300 miles and about 7 hours, which includes time for lunch. If everything goes
smoothly, we should be home by 3:30-4:00PM. I have enclosed some directions for the ride, departing from the Best Buy
Parking lot and coming back on I-575 into the Woodstock and Marietta areas. I have already done a test run drive of the
route and the roads were in very good condition. I did not run into any major problems.
