Who Should Attend? This event is perfect for families with children in French Second-Language programs, French Immersion, or Francophone schools who want to connect with other like-minded families while enjoying a weekend immersed in French language and culture.
Why Attend?
Language immersion beyond the classroom: Let your children practice and expand their French in fun, real-world contexts.
Community & connection: Build friendships, engage with supporting families, and strengthen the CPF network in a relaxed setting.
Multi-generational fun: Activities are designed for kids (K–12), youth monitors (12–18), parents, and families as a whole.
What to Expect:
2 nights’ accommodation included (room stay at host venue)
Engaging, French programming for all ages (e.g., games, arts, francophone cultural programming)
Opportunities for students 12-18 years of age to be Monitors in training/Monitors or babysitters.
Youth are automatically entered to participate in the program based on their age. If your youth wishes to be a babysitter (2 are needed) or does not wish to participate in the opportunity, please reach out to Émilie at [email protected].
Parent sessions: including social time, workshops, and discussions (subject to 2025 theme)
Family Events: such as a Saturday evening dinner, community entertainment, and Sunday morning group activity

Full weekend package (includes 1 adult + 1 child rate; children under age 5 attend free)
Day rates for Saturday-only programming
Room upgrades or additional attendees: add person options available
You must complete a Medical Waiver for all participants under the age of 18. All attendees must also complete a Liability Waiver prior to attendance.

For each *new family that you refer to attend, you will receive $50.00! Share this amazing weekend with your friends, neighbors and relatives and you will get $50.00 for each *new family that joins us in Canmore!
*New families must not have attended a CPF Falling into French weekend before.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change, but due to the commitments we must make to venues, hotels, and instructors, we have adopted the following cancellation policy:
Cancellations made 4 weeks or more prior to the event: 80% refund (20% administration fee retained).
Cancellations made 2-4 weeks prior to the event: 50% refund.
Cancellations made 8-14 days prior to the event: 25% refund.
Cancellations made 7 days or less prior to the event (including no-shows): No refund.
Please note: If the event involves accommodations, any hotel penalties incurred due to your cancellation will be deducted from your refund in addition to the above fees.
