Help us get native trees in the ground and growing at Sky Meadows State Park on November 20th 2025! Trees to include 9 different varieties: White Dogwood, Sugar Maple, Sycamore, Shagbark Hickory, White Oak, Black Oak, Shumard Oak, Chinkapin Oak, and Sweet Gum. This planting focuses on the picnic area of the park, contributes to biodiversity, supports park educational programs, and enhances the surroundings for all to enjoy. A total of 27 mature trees, many of which will be 6-8’ in overall height, are included in this 1st phase planting. More information will be available shortly.
