Mountain bike trail work day at Standing Rocks. This event is open to the public and family friendly, all are welcome. Volunteers should come to the main bike parking lot (south lot near disc golf) between 8:45-9:00am. We will do trail work from 9:00-12:00. All volunteers will need to sign the Portage County Parks Volunteer form, which will be provided at the event.Volunteers should dress to be outside in the woods doing trail work, should bring gloves, a water bottle, and anything else they will need. We suggest that volunteers spray for bugs and wood ticks.
Volunteers are encouraged to bring rakes, shovels, and W**d trimmers if they have them. Specific work details will be added.
Point Area Bicycle Service (PABS) will be providing food for all volunteers after the event. Please let us know if you are coming so they can make sure to buy enough grub! Thank you PABS!!!
