In this beginner friendly workshop, we’ll explore how to imprint real fall leaves, lace, natural textures and stamps into clay to create beautiful, functional pieces perfect for your fall table or home decor.Under the guidance of an experienced instructor, you’ll:
-Roll and shape clay slabs into small plates or trays
-Experiment with a variety of fall textures (leaves, twigs, fabrics, etc.)
-Learn about surface design, clay tools and decorating techniques
-Choose glazes to enhance your textures and bring your piece to life [glazing would take place in a future open studio class after original piece is fired]
