About this Event
Tournament Format: The tournament will consist of two divisions of six teams each, playing in a round robin format, followed by final matches for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place.
Teams must choose one of the following categories at the time of registration to determine division placement!
Beginner: Teams can sustain short rallies with basic forehand and backhand shots but struggle with accuracy and strategy.
Beginning Intermediate: Teams maintain longer rallies, serve with some consistency, and begin using basic court positioning.
Intermediate: Teams execute controlled shots, including lobs and dinks, and understand fundamental strategies like third-shot drops.
Advanced Intermediate: Teams demonstrate consistent shot placement, employ spin and power effectively, and adapt strategies during competitive play.
Advanced: Teams master all shots, including advanced spins and volleys, and dominate rallies with strategic precision and adaptability.
Prior Winners: Teams with a member who won a previous tournament at The Crossing will be placed in the Upper Division.
If you are unable to enter your Team Rating due to a glitch on the registration page, please text your rating to the event organizer at 415-685-7728.
Teams that do not provide a Team Rating will be placed in the Upper Division.
