DocuShred will offer document destruction that will be available until the truck reaches capacity. There will be a limit of two boxes per vehicle, no exceptions.
Earthpaint will accept both latex and oil-based paint for recycling for a fee. Charges will be based on the type of can that is disposed, not on the amount of material in the can. Please do not mix containers. A full list of fees is listed on the village’s website at www.schaumburg.com/recyclingevent. Cash or credit will be accepted onsite.
Additionally, electronic items, such as computers, small appliances, cell phones, electronic toys, copper wire and more will be accepted. Charges will apply for eligible televisions and monitors. Please visit the village’s website at www.schaumburg.com/recyclingevent for a list of accepted electronic items and their associated fees.
Items such as paint thinner, gas, cooking oil, gas cylinders or Freon-containing items such as air conditioners and dehumidifiers, or other hazardous waste will not be accepted at the event.
