Fall Prevention Seminar

This seminar is tailored toward the general population and will address common fall risks, specifically during the winter months, and provide tips on prevention. A physical therapist will demonstrate balance and strength exercises that participants can utilize to avoid falls; there will be an active practice session for those who are interested. Additionally, we will show the safest landing techniques in the case of a slip or fall and signs to look for that warrant medical treatment. There will be a post-seminar Q&A with a doctor of physical therapy. Light refreshments provided.
