We've been acquiring collections (some really big ones) like crazy this year; so much so that we've run out of space to work in the vault! In fact, we have been stashing thousands of CDs & LPs in a nearby storage facility and SO on Saturday, Nov 9, we start cleaning out both the in-store vault and the over-flow storage. Most of this stuff is available for the first time and will be priced to move!I think you will be surprised by the titles you see as well as the condition of these LPs & CDs. We will have a large selection of $1 to $2 records that are not junk! As well as real vinyl gems that might have minor flaws starting at 8 bucks. And pre-loved CD bargains for days! It’s been a buyers market for CDs but that trend might be waning. I think the kool kids are starting to re-discover CDs, so I guess what I’m trying to say is ACT NOW!
Plus we will have all types of posters and collectible stuff that we are finally letting go. Our newish staffer Ethan has ushered in a new era at Horizon where we get rid of stuff we are not using. I know… INSANE, right!?! This means that you will see treasure that we have been holding onto for years that’s finally looking for a new home. Gene is resisting the urge to freak out and focusing on breathing…
Much of the action on Nov 9th will be in the parking lot under tent, but we’re discussing creative ways to display a bunch of this stuff in the store too. But like I said, it will be priced to move!
