Sunday October 6, 9am-3pm Perennial Crops Nursery, Hidden Grove Homestead, Dig It Native Gardens and Landscaping LLC, Prairie Earth Nursery, Purple Violet Nursery, and Schuetzen Park Historic Site are teaming up to host a plant sale. A wide variety of perennials, local ecotypes, natives, fruit trees, nut trees, berry bushes, and herbs will be available.Schuetzen Park will be slinglin' bratwurst & sauerkraut, and desserts made from black raspberries and apples grown in the park. We will have a good ol’ fashioned chestnut roast from the chestnuts grown at the park as well! Acoustic music will be played by some local acts! The historic grounds host the oldest park in Davenport; a beautiful forest and chestnut orchard you can leisurely hike through. 700 Waverly Rd, Davenport, IA 52804
