The Extension Master GardenerSM Association of Davidson County will present its annual fall plant sale at a new time and location. It will take place Saturday, October 4th from 10 am – 2 pm at the Agriculture Center, 301 E. Center Street, Lexington, NC. Fall is the best time to plant shrubs and trees. Master Gardener Volunteers will donate beautiful plants from their yards for the sale as usual. You will be able to choose from a wide variety of common and rare plants—shrubs, trees, perennials, vines/ground covers, NC natives, house plants and more. Prices will be far below retail! A Garden Treasure area will include garden décor, gently-used gardening items and gift containers with special plants. Not only is the location and time new, but a food area with Sunshine Slush and Yank’s Franks will be available for your lunch. Proceeds from this sale fund scholarships and community projects. Cash, check or credit cards will be accepted. Plus--Master Gardener Volunteers will be on hand to answer your gardening questions.Location & Parking details: Located in the back parking lot of the Ag Center, 301 E Center St. Plenty of parking will be available at the County Parole Building just across the street.
