🍁 Fall-o-Ween Festival 2025 🎃Join Scioto County Developmental Disabilities for a fun, family-friendly evening at our Fall-o-Ween Festival!
📅 Date: Thursday, October 23
🕔 Time: 5:00–7:30 PM
📍 Location: Vern Riffe School, 2610 Gallia Street, Portsmouth
Get ready for an evening full of games, treats, and Halloween fun for all ages!
✨ Activities include:
• Trunk-or-Treat: This year’s outdoor trunk-or-treat will feature a sensory-friendly setup with a quieter environment and accessible space for everyone to enjoy.
• Classroom Games & Indoor Fun: Play games and win prizes throughout the building!
• Sensory Activities & Pumpkin Decorating in the Gym: A perfect calm space for hands-on exploration and creativity.
• Cakewalk (Classroom 109): Try your luck and win some sweet treats!
• Concessions: Visit the main concession stand on the back patio of the STAR, Inc. building for dinner items, plus enjoy sweet treats available in the gym.
• Costume Contest: Enter by division for your chance to win!
• Registration: 5:00–6:00 PM (on the parking lot behind the school building)
• Voting: 6:00–7:00 PM
• Winners announced at 7:00 PM in the gym
• “Pie-a-Local-Celebrity” Fundraiser: All proceeds benefit Friends of Scioto DD, a nonprofit that helps individuals with developmental disabilities in emergency situations.
🎟 Admission:
• $1 per person (general public)
• OR bring a canned food item for free admission!
🎫 Tickets:
All activities require tickets, with the exception of the Trunk-or-Treat.
Tickets are $0.25 each or 5 for $1.
🚗 Parking:
• Handicap parking: Front parking lot
• Visitor parking: Across from Mabert Road and beyond
