About this Event
Join us for a joint collaboration with No Plateau Zone for their Fall 2025 Mental Relief 5K Walk/Run series, a seasonal charity event to raise mental health awareness. Their first Walk/Run & Yoga event will be held on Saturday, November 1st. Their goal is to nourish the mind, body, and spirit, maintain good cardiovascular health, and network with other people in the community.
This is a donation-based event. The recommended amount is $5-$30. A portion of the proceeds will go to Mental Health America to support their efforts in shedding light on the importance of mental health.
What to bring: Water bottle, running shoes, and a yoga mat.
Optional: Sunscreen, snacks, bug spray, sunglasses, hat, rain jacket/poncho (depending on forecast). Please wear comfortable clothing.
What to expect:
- Group Introduction
- Warm-Up: Dynamic stretches with a brief 5-minute HIIT routine
- Walking: Bilateral processing & grounding
- Running: Build stamina & increase endorphins
- Cool Down: Static stretches for recovery and reducing stiffness
- Yoga: Increase flexibility and promote mindfulness

About No Plateau Zone:
No Plateau Zone, LLC. (NPZ) is a health and wellness organization offering fitness, nutrition, and motivational coaching services to help people counter various mental health disorders. NPZ hosts a seasonal "Mental Relief Series" that serves the purpose of connecting people to the outdoors with the intent of nourishing the mind, body, and spirit while networking with other people in the community.
Meet your yoga teacher, Melan:
Melan is a multi-dimensional wellness guide & artist who fuses self-awareness, holistic wellness, and sound healing into offerings that inspire individual and collective healing. She pairs her 200-hour yoga certification with diverse experience in plant-medicine education, as well as 7+ years of organizing wellness events throughout the DMV. Through her offerings, she’s committed to honoring nature, uplifting communal wellbeing, and sharing her authentic soul expression.
