Join us for this 2-hour-long informative, illustrated talk that follows linen from flax seed to woven textile, including first-hand experience growing and processing the flax plant, incorporating a historical perspective on flax cultivation in Europe. Our presenter, Jane, will be on Zoom, and the audience will be in person. This lecture is free and open to the public.
About the Presenter:
Jane Bridgeman is a certified Master Gardener who lives in North York, Ontario. Her interests, include gardening (I certified as a Master Gardener in 2010), and rug hooking.
In 2018, she was certified as an Ontario Rug hooking Craft Guild teacher, and in 2023, she I completed her American Rug Hooking McGown certification.
