This is taking place next Saturday, Oct 12th @ 6pm (5:15pm for VIP Tickets) at Kiwanis Park in Brainerd
Each person's admission is $2.
VIP Ticket is $15 per family (Which gets you the early access at 5:15pm- the DIY Lantern Kit - Mason Jar, Fairy or LED light, and Mod Podge, materials to decorate).

World Mental Health Day is Oct 10.
The purpose of this event is to provide community gathering, and mental health awareness, for parents and families in Brainerd Lakes Area, for families to reduce mental health stigma & provide support for their children as they grow. This event provides Lantern Making as a family connection, which symbolizes light in the dark, or the light in all of us. The lantern walk in nature provides families with learning of "nature" in mental health.
Gather for a sweet, simple family event celebrating community, the beauty of nature and the changing season, and the light in each of us.
Come at 5:15pm (Ticket Holders who sign up for making your own lantern as a family- VIP Ticket includes- Lantern Kit for family - masor jar with fairy light or LED solar powered, mod podge, decor & twine, live instructor)
6-6:30 General admission,
nature songs & community circle, community info, games/art
630- 7 community walk with lantern on trail (anyone can join at 6:30 for the walk- bring your own lanterns)
7- 730pm we will end our time together with warm refreshments & a reminder of the light that shines in each of us.
ISO volunteers for event.
Each family that signs up must sign a waiver.
Lantern Walk is inspired by Tinkergarten curriculum, a child based nature play initiative; and by the advocacy needs for youth mental health.
