[Starting/Meetup Location GPS] :TBA
SUMMARY:
Announcing the return of San Austin Fall Jam back at Texas State!
I've done a lot of checking back and forth and Oct 12th is looking to be the prime Sunday for no listed events or celebrations at Texas State during the jam, meaning we'll have a good run of the campus that day!
STARTING LOCATION: TBA
In case you've never been, San Austin Jam is a free one-day Texas local open jam for parkour & freerunning beginners and veterans alike, focusing on bringing together people from different TX communities to train and learn and hangout at dope spots for the day! Originally between the Austin and San Antonio pk communities, it's now open to people from all communities that want to participate and join in on the fun!
*Any updates to the event will be posted on this event page*
------------
PARKING:
Visitor parking is available at the LBJ Student Center for a fee or at designated visitor spaces. On the campus website, it states: "From 5 p.m. Fridays through 7 p.m. Sundays, Parking Services does not enforce “No Permit” violations on Visitor/Guest vehicles."
Although there hasn't been much issue in the past, please note that parking on campus is at your own risk. For ease of mind, some prefer to park off-campus at "The Square" and take the short walk to the meetup instead. A lot of the overall parking is free or at low cost.

THINGS TO BRING:
-Hydration! (Water, more water, even more water cause you're gonna need it. Also the more electrolytes the better
-Snacks/food to keep you moving until after training (there are spots for food after)
-Cameras, GoPros, Gimbals, whatever you want if you like filming and making pk content!
-Whatever else that comes to mind! Bring stuff for yourself or things that you'd think would be helpful for the community! (First-Aid, mosquito spray, portable chargers, speaker for music, etc.)
-Swim gear! We typically meet by the river and hang out and swim together and interact for the rest of the day after training. Come hangout, even if you're not a swimmer!
--------
Feel free to reach out for any questions, comments, etc. By this point we have a good amount of people that have been to the jam before, so there's a mini-community of experience.
Let's get it y'all! Invite your friends, and bring the vibes and let's gooooo!!
Cya there!
