Get ready for a full day of learning and dancing. This event is designed for both new and experienced dancers, with lessons tailored to different levels and a lively evening social to bring it all together.1 PM to 3 PM Intermediate Lesson (2 hours)
We’ll begin the day with an intermediate class for dancers who already have some experience. To join this session, you should feel comfortable with a Swing Out. This lesson will help you expand your skills, refine your technique, and add more variety to your dancing.
3:30 PM - 5:30 PM Beginner Intensive (2 hours)
Following that, we’ll offer a beginner-friendly intensive designed as a “Zero to Hero” class. It’s ideal for anyone who is brand new to swing dancing or for those who want to improve their fundamentals. Over two hours, you’ll learn the basics, build confidence, and discover the joy of social dancing!
6:30 PM to 7:00 PM Collegiate Shag Taster (included with any ticket!)
Before the evening dance begins, join us for a short Collegiate Shag taster. This is a great way to get introduced to another energetic swing style and prepare for our upcoming class series.
7:00 to 9:00 PM Evening Social Dance with the Peter Banting Swingtet
Cap off the day with our social dance, featuring live music by the Peter Banting Swingtet. Costumes highly encouraged!
