This basket is incredibly unique. Made by many native tribes, but for some reason the Choctaw get the credit , as well a early colonial Americans, it is a useful basket to carry things in. The unusual aspect of this pouch is that you weave it and then punch it to make the shape. In today's world it looks fantastic on a wall or a front door.. Size is 10 inches high x 12 inches wide, not counting the handle which can be made varying lengthsStudents need to bring...measuring tape, sharpened pencil, a brick wrapped in plastic wrap, 12 large wooden clip style clothespins, old towel, scissors, pocket knife, a small regular screw driver, spray bottle, pail or dish pan to hold 2 gallons of water, lunch, drinks and snacks...wear comfortable clothes.
