About this Event
OCTOBER 18 & 19
You wore your Book It button with pride, smashed that personal pan pizza and can still summon the excitement (and smell) of a fresh stack of Scholastic Book Fair catalogs landing in your elementary classroom.
Join us at Scout Hall as we bring the magic back at the Grown-Up Book Fair on October 18-19.
What to expect:
Turn pages and browse the racks for a book or 12 to take home with a curated selection from our favorite local booksellers at The Book Rack. But that's not all, kids. There's more to explore with:
- A full bar with literary-themed cocktails and mocktails for purchase
- Free coffee (the best kind) from our pals at the Ground-A-Bout
- Signature coffee drink demonstration and samples with Caleb Baker (Ground-A-Bout)
- Old school bake sale with all the snacks from Bon Bon's
- A library card scavenger hunt (with prizes!!) compliments of rustmedia
- Art prints for sale from local artists, curated by the Arts Council (no promises on puppies or Ferrari posters, but we'll try)
- DIY crafts and creative experiences with flourish magazine
- Photo booth to snapshot all the memories
- Plenty of chill space to kick back, sip and peruse your latest read
BONUS: The first 100 people to snap up a ticket to the Grown-Up Book Fair receive a FREE Scout Hall tote bag!
