Speaker Bio:
Brennen was born on Earth Day, and was named after the Patron Saint of Navigators, a fitting alignment considering her connection to nature. Raised in Northwest Arkansas, she pursued her Graphic Design degree at the University of Central Arkansas. Having spent close to two decades navigating demanding construction environments, Brennen decided to pursue her true passion: adventure photography. Fueled by a steadfast love for the great outdoors, she merged her creative skills with her affinity for capturing fleeting moments in nature. Brennen has embarked on extraordinary expeditions, hiking over 1300 miles to capture nearly 500 waterfalls, and countless nights of lost sleep chasing the stars. Through her photographs, she aims to inspire others to appreciate and conserve the natural wonders that surround us. She also believes that education and hands-on learning experiences are invaluable in nurturing creativity and enhancing technical skills, which is why she has dedicated herself to teaching photography workshops. In 2021, she had the honor of becoming an Ambassador for Arkansas Tourism, a role she embraces wholeheartedly. She takes great delight in showcasing the treasures our state possesses while documenting and advocating for the preservation of our natural skies along the journey.
