About this Event
The Davenport House Museum, a treasured Historic Savannah Foundation property that served as the birthplace of Savannah’s modern-day preservation movement, will host an engaging and educational filled with creativity, learning and historical exploration for all ages.
This special event, which is free and open to the public, will invite participants to explore 19th-century art forms through hands-on activities like silhouettes and candle making. Guests can also take a self-guided tour of the first two levels of the Davenport House, experiencing life in 1820s Savannah. Savannah Square Pops will be on-site serving sweet treats. Local artist Mars Tadeo will offer face painting from 1 to 2 p.m.
