Join us for a day of celebration and community as we honor the Fall Equinox with a variety of activities for all ages. What is the Fall Equinox? The fall equinox is the halfway point between the summer and winter solstices and marks the precise moment when the sun appears directly over the Earth's equator. This celestial event represents a balance, a moment when the energies of the light and the dark are in harmony, offering a unique time for reflection and introspection. It is also the first official day of Autumn!
• 10:00-11:00 AM: Fall Equinox Service in the Sanctuary open to the public, presented by Reverend Kali Fyre.
• 10:30 AM: Equinox Activity for children in the classroom during the service.
• 11:30 AM-2:00 PM: Free Family Concert on the lawn featuring Amy Conley with guitar and banjo (11:30 am-12:30 pm), followed by additional musical performances from our talented UU congregants. Purchase a pumpkin from Fresh Start Market, enjoy a homemade chili luncheon ($5 donation suggested), and more!
