Welcome to the Fall Community Packing Event for Backpacks for the Homeless RVA 🎒! this is an all ages vent from 1 to 100 are invited to come. single individuals, families and groups of every kind are welcome. Join us as we pack hundreds of backpacks for the unsheltered in our area. these packs will eventually go out on foot with us or be taken to satellite organizations that have a homeless Outreach of some kind where these packs can bolster what they do. come help us love on our unsheltered neighbors!we will start at 10:00 a.m. that saturday, November 30th. it is completely reasonable to see this lasting until 3:00 or 4:00 p.m.. things will wrap up with us putting all of the bins and backpacks back at the storage facility at Chesterfield mini storage. there will be a load in day, November 27th. anyone with a vehicle that can move tubs over to the theater are welcome to help out. just let us know if you will be available. we would meet over at the storage facility, Chesterfield Mini storage, at 10:00 a.m. and load up. we would then go and load everything into the back of the house and try to set up as much as we can for that coming Saturday.
