Arizona Western College looks forward to honoring the hard work and achievement of our Fall 2025 graduates. The Fall Commencement Ceremony will be held Friday, December 12, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the AWC Amphitheater on the Yuma Campus. This will be an outdoor event.Graduate Check-In:
• Graduates with last names A–L should arrive by 1:00 p.m.
• Graduates with last names M–Z should arrive by 1:15 p.m.
*While some students borrow regalia from past graduates, AWC’s gown colors have changed in recent years. To ensure a consistent and polished look, graduates are strongly encouraged to purchase official caps and gowns. Graduates should check their student email for more information.
Security and Clear Bag Policy:
To help provide a safe environment for all guests, AWC has implemented a clear bag policy for Commencement. Approved bags include:
• One (1) clear tote bag no larger than 12"w x 6"d x 12"h, or
• One (1) clear plastic storage bag (one gallon), and
• One (1) small clutch bag no larger than 4.5" x 6.5" (which does not have to be clear).
Parking:
Parking is available in all AWC lots. Please avoid staff, reserved, or disabled spaces unless permitted. The AWC Amphitheater is located on the most northern side of campus near the Engineering Building. Campus Map at azwestern.edu/map.
