The Charity Challenge Invitational began in 2017. This meet, along with the Charity Challenge Cup held in the Spring, allows gymnasts to select a charity to represent. Based on the number of kids entered, spectators, event placing both individually and by team, gymnasts earn money for their charity. The gym that earns the most for their charity (combined with the Charity Challenge Cup) wins the Charity Challenge Cup trophy. Over the 5 years of Charity Challenge Series, close to $280,000 has been donated to various charities.
