Welcome to Fall break sewing camp!
Take on the world of sewing with instructor Amanda in our downtown Bakersfield studio.
In this 3 day camp we will be focusing on learning to make an apron AND decorate fall cookies with Lawanda of Mama Kneads Dough
This is an ALL LEVELS camp. (All levels means this is a great class for students that are brand new to sewing as well as experienced sewist)

Projects:
Sewing an apron
In this camp students will learn how to:
-Operate a sewing machine (if they do not already know how)
-Cut out fabric and follow pattern instructions
-Sew together a reversible apron
Cookie decorating:
On the third day of class we will finish up our aprons and then Lawanda of Mama Kneads Dough will join us to teach us about the art of cookie decorating (while we wear our new aprons!)

Ages: 8-14
Pricing: $240 ($50 deposit is paid on Eventbrite and remaining balance is paid on first day of session. If you are interested in paying the deposit through Zelle, Apple Pay, cash, or check, please reach out separately)
Class size: 6-8
Heartland Charter Students: Due to the add on of the cookie decorating, this class cannot be paid for using Heartland funds. We are offering a morning camp (9-12pm) where the sewing project is the same, making an apron but cookie decorating is not included.
Camp includes:
Use of sewing machines, tools, and fabric
Water and snacks, though we encourage students to bring their own reusable water bottle
Take home multiple projects that are created in class
Other important information:
There are no refunds, but the class can be transferred to another student
In the event that a students gets sick:
They are to stay hone until they feel better

There are no make up dates for class. If a student does not finish their project, the option of booking a private lesson is allowed.
