Fall 2025 Pre-Game Meeting (Character Picks)

The Fall 2025 Ring Game is going to be held on October 11, 2025 (see separate event), so that means we'll be holding our pre-game meeting two Sundays beforehand. Here's the agenda:
1:00 PM: Fascinating description of the game for new players (and valuable refresher for returning players)
2:00 PM: Rules updates and clarifications for all players
2:15 PM: Character Selection via lottery*
3:00 PM: Team meetings (strongly recommended)
We will do our best to be in Room 1111, but if some "student" or "faculty member" has it "reserved," we may have to move to a different room. Watch for signs in the building on the day of the meeting.
*1 pick per person/no pooling numbers; once the lottery is over, additional characters can be reserved on a first-come/first-served basis.
*You must be over 18 to play a wizard. You must have played in the Spring 2025 game to select Sauron, Saruman, or Gandalf. You cannot play the same wizard two games in a row.
*You must be approved by Jeff and/or Jack in advance to play the Menace.
*You must have played at least once before to play a hobbit. We recommend (but do not require) that you have a good working knowledge of the layout of the park. A lack of self-preservation is also a plus.
