Fall 2024, Fantastic Farmhands Elementary Age Program (Min Age 6-10)

In this exciting, fun-packed farm program, participants will experience life on the Farm by seasonal planting, watering, and harvesting and getting to know what daily life is like on a working farm. Fantastic Farmhands will help care for and interact with furry and feathered friends on the Farm, helping to care for the farm's many animals, gathering warm eggs from nesting boxes, feeding our alpacas and learning to gently handle small animals. We will also learn about what is means to be sustainable, pollinators, compost, and other farmhand experiences by way of hands-on activities. We will also enjoy farm crafts and games in this delightful outdoor farm setting. Please pack a reusable water bottle/ This program will be part outdoor.

Please note children must be at least 6 years old to participate in this class.

FALL 1 SESSION DATES/TIMES:

Tuesdays: 9/17-10/22 4:15 pm - 5:45 pm

Thursdays: 9/19 -10/24 4:15 pm - 5:45 pm (No class 10/3)

FALL 2 SESSION DATES/TIMES:

Tuesdays: 11/12 - 12/17 4:15 pm - 5:15 pm (Note time adjustment)

or

Thursdays: 11/14 -12/19 4:15 pm - 5:15 pm (Note time adjustment, No class 11/28)

Age 6- 10 years, Up to 12 participants per class

$300 per 6 week hour and a half session (Tues), $250 per 5 week hour and a half session (Thur)

$270 per 6 week one hour session (Tues), $225 per 5 week one hour session (Thur)

Please know the Farm does not offer refunds or exchanges should your plans change or there is inclement weather causing class to cancel. Please consider your ticket purchase a donation to Wakeman Town Farm to help support its educational initiatives.
