About this Event
P itt's chapter of the Society of Women Engineers invites all middle school girls (grades 6, 7, & 8) to Code Day, a 4-hour event introducing students to a variety of computer and code-related topics! Topics include Python with Turtle, artificial intelligence, HTML, breadboardingand a discussion with current Pitt computer science and computer engineering students. This event is a great way to introduce your child to computers and coding (no prior experience required).
This event is run in conjuction with our SWE++ program, though anyone is welcome to attend!
We hope to see your daughter at Code Day! When registering, please be sure that the name on the ticket matches the name of the student registering for the program, not the parent.
