About this Event
We are planning for a 9am-Noon workshop and Noon-1pm casual lunch/mix & mingle. In person with a virtual option for those who need.
Whether you are new to partnering with FGCU or you’ve been with us for many years, these semesterly meetings are a chance to get the latest updates, ask questions, gain a deeper understanding about FGCU, and sharpen our collaborations through service-learning and more. FGCU's commitment to the community is a cornerstone piece to the institution, which has provided a win-win opportunity for FGCU students as well as hundreds of organizations near and far since FGCU's doors first opened.
During this workshop, learn more about engaging with students, faculty, and staff through service-learning and other opportunities. Community agencies often work with students through their classes, student organizations, fraternities/sororities, independently, through residence halls, and more. Students can do direct service, in-direct service, advocacy, and/or research. And many students are happy to serve virtually when needed. The opportunities are endless.
Please also visit our website of resources for community agencies here: https://www.fgcu.edu/studentlife/servicelearning/communitypartnerresources
We hope you will join us for this workshop as we get ready for the coming academic term.
