About this Event
FALCONERS is designed to allow children or adults of all ages with special needs and unique abilities (such as autism or other developmental disabilties) and their whole family to have an enriching educational experience in a safe, welcoming and sensory friendly environment.
This event is during normal zoo hours. By registering you can come in anytime between 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM. All activities will end at 1:00 PM. You can stay in the zoo and walk around, even after we end but you must be in by 1:00 PM.
There is no general theme for this event - just a nice (probably chilly) morning at the zoo! There will be a couple of activities, a craft and a warm snack provided in the Safari Room. Please be in the zoo early enough to walk through the zoo to reach all of the activities... If you plan to do them. Specific details will be sent a day before the event.
