The Fake Actors Guild returns with their first show of 2025! We will be reading through two Boondocks scripts live in front of an audience. The first script is known, our fake actors have had time to rehearse. The second is announced live the night of the show when they will do a cold read of the secret second script. There is also a raffle for many fabulous prizes, including the grand prize of becoming a fake actor yourself. One lucky winner will be given a script, assigned a role with a couple of lines and a seat at the TABLE!!!!
All proceed to be donated to Music Changing Lives. Music Changing Lives (MCL) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to providing music, art, and tutoring programs in America’s public schools and community centers while raising awareness about the importance of enrichment programs as part of each child’s comprehensive education and lifestyle.

The show is happening at the historic Back to the Grind Basement on February 8th. The doors will open at 7PM and the show will start at 7:30. Cash is encouraged for raffle tickets and food purchases, but Venmo and Zelle are also accepted. We are selling a portion of the tickets online and will have some available at the door. The show has been known to sell out and seating is limited, so don't be late. Come see the show that is quickly becoming the talk of the town.
