The Faith Lutheran Church Concert series will host a concert by the early instrument ensemble: Lacléde's Band on Friday, March 21 at 7:00 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church. The ensemble is made up of local musicians performing on replicas of instruments used in the 16th through the 18th centuries. They will perform a variety of music including dances, music from the 16th century, military band music from the court of Louis XIV, settings of the hymn "A Might Fortress" by Michael Praetorius and dance music from "The Fairy Queen" by Henry Purcell and more. Please join us for this program of early popular music.
A free will offering will be taken. Admission is free. Refreshments to follow.
