The Cathedral, in partnership with Transforming Lives Together, will host an Assemble-style event following a special evensong to mark the 40th anniversary of the Faith in the City report.
The report was a call to action by churches and government working together to address the challenges faced by our urban areas. The Dean will lead a discussion with a panel of speakers involved in the original report and significant work since.
You are invited to join us for evensong at 5.45pm, followed by refreshments. The discussion on “Faith in the City Forty Years On” will commence at 6.45pm, with panellists Rob Wickham (CEO of CUF), Bishop Tim Stevens (former bishop of Leicester) and Jenny Sinclair (founder of Together for the Common Good)
