About this Event
The Faith (&) Politics Forum is a non-partisan event designed to unite a diverse group of Christians from across the nation. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from influential leaders, share their concerns, engage in fellowship, and participate in worship. This forum will highlight the importance of voting and encourage faithful engagement beyond the election season.
As Christians, we have a duty to steward our citizenship and influence wisely. Our public witness should embody the compassion and truth of the Gospel, especially in the context of America's fractured civic discourse. In our debates, voting, and advocacy, we must not allow political parties to define us, nor should conservatism or progressivism dictate our social actions. To be both prophetic and effective in the sociopolitical arena, we must be informed, strategic, and courageous. The AND Campaign’s Faith (&) Politics Forum aims to fulfill these goals, serving as the cornerstone of our Civic Revival initiative.
The forum programming will be guided by three commitments:
- Civic Pluralism - A commitment to respecting different belief systems and insisting on respect for our own.
- Impartiality - A commitment to hold all acting and prospective public servants accountable to a common set of values regardless of their partisan or ideological affiliations.
- Compassion (&) Conviction Advocacy - First a commitment to be engaged (rather than bystanders) in advocating with equal vigor on issues of truth and moral order as well as matters of justice and empathy.
