Stroll along the Fairy Tale Trail at Lower Moreland Park. Follow the circular, 1/2-mile paved path around the park to discover a new spin on the story of Hansel and Gretel. This interactive outdoor story experience, including the story adaptation and all story illustrations, was created by members of Huntingdon Valley Library's amazing Teen Advisory Board.Fairy Tale Trail is available the whole week of May 11-17. Lower Moreland Park is open from sunrise to sunset.
This story experience is likely to appeal most to toddlers through 2nd graders, but it is recommended for patrons of all ages.
Lower Moreland Park: Enter the park from Warfield Drive in Huntingdon Valley. Take Warfield Drive from Huntingdon Pike, follow Warfield around the bend, and the parking lot is on your left. Follow the path by the playground to find the beginning of our story.
