Explore your favorite fairy tales at the museum! Come dressed as your favorite fairy tale character and have fun with a variety of themed activities, crafts, and special story time. Pre-registration suggested. Walk-ins welcome as space allows. Free with admission or membership
Timed presentations:
- Themed Storytime in the Nature Nook with Megan (aka Red Riding Hood) at 10:30 a.m.
- Permian Monsters & Red Riding Hood – Guided Tour of Permian Monsters Exhibit at 11 a.m.
- AR Sandbox Demonstration at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m.
- Themed Storytime in the Nature Nook with Megan (aka Red Riding Hood) at 1 p.m.
- Live Animal Presentation at 2 p.m.
Fun activities all day:
- Make your own wolf mask
- Explore specimens to see what all carnivores have in common.
- Can you solve the maze to get Red Riding Home to her grandmother’s house?
- Explore what bright colors mean in nature
- Help Red Riding Hood find her lost picnic items with the themed-scavenger hunt.
- Dress up as your favorite fairy tale character and take a photo in the DelMNS fairy tale selfie spot
