Hair tinsel is thin, glittery strands that are tied into your hair to give it a fun, sparkling effect. It can be subtle or bold depending on how much you apply and what colors you choose!

2. How long does hair tinsel last?

Typically, hair tinsel lasts anywhere from 1 to 6 weeks, depending on how well it’s applied and how you care for your hair. You can wash, style, and even heat-style your hair like normal while the tinsel is in. The tinsel will fall out as the piece of hair it is tied to natural falls out.

3. Does hair tinsel damage your hair?

Not at all! Hair tinsel is lightweight and applied using a knot technique, so it doesn’t damage your hair when applied properly.

4. Can I use a curling iron or straightener with hair tinsel?

Yes! Most hair tinsel is heat-resistant up to 400°F, so you can use your curling iron, straightener, or blow dryer just like you normally would.

7. How do I remove hair tinsel?

Hair tinsel can be easily removed by pulling/cutting the one strand of hair it is tied to.
