Inspiring sessions, supported by The Equality Trust, will involve Derby City Council managers and members of the community to learn and work out solutions together. Let's start 2025 with some change-making!

✅ Addressing socio-economic disadvantage and care-experience in Equality Impact Assessments (checks on policies to make them fairer)
✅ Challenges and solutions for Derby
✅ Diverse voices of lived experience at the sharp end of austerity cuts, financial stress & care-experienced people - add your voice
✅ Success stories from other cities
✅ Practical tips to be a changemaker
Whilst crisis services are necessary sticking plasters to help people survive, we want to address root causes in the policies and systems that cause or worsen the unfair wealth gap. People want freedom to live, not charity and relying on foodbanks. The solutions are found when people living the issues are part of the process - bring your ideas to make our city a #FairChance Derby
