Fairbanks Flutists Sextet

Fairbanks Flutists Sextet will be playing at Raven Landing on November 29, 7 pm, as part of the Last Friday Series. Contemporary Chamber works for flutes will be paired with a selection of holiday pieces arranged for flute ensemble, as well as a classical flute trio by Kuhlau , the “Beethoven” of the flute. All the members of this group are enrolled in the UAF flute chamber music class under the direction of Dorli McWayne. They are also part of the larger Fairbanks Flutists, which is now in its 45th year, and performs annually every May.
