About this Event

The official launch of the fair trade gallery, “UnFair: The Story of Consumption, Production & Unsustainable Thinking,” is Friday, August 13th. Creators of the gallery, Megan Cortina and Mary Song, two interns of the NYC FTC, take you on a 5-part journey covering industrialization, overproduction, overconsumption, and the solutions fair trade offers.

The gallery will educate people on the importance of fair trade and why it’s needed. They’ll understand how fair trade is combatting unsustainable and unethical practices that have been going on for over 200 years.

This exhibition is expected to be interactive, educational and entertaining.
