This very special evening will feature the incredible Fair Oriana performing live at Blackburn Cathedral under the Moon.
The term ‘silvery’ is often used to describe clear, high voices and is a word that has been associated with the ethereal sound and image of Fair Oriana.
Penelope and Angela have taken this concept as inspiration for an atmospheric moon-themed programme of baroque music, which celebrates the sound of the pure soprano voice, and the unique sound of ancient instruments, accompanied by a team of highly virtuosic instrumentalists.
This very special concert under The Moon will feature both well known and more diverse repertoire, spanning opera, oratorio, chamber music and song.
