This very special evening will feature the incredible Fair Oriana performing live at Blackburn Cathedral under the Moon.The term ‘silvery’ is often used to describe clear, high voices and is a word that has been associated with the ethereal sound and image of Fair Oriana.
Penelope and Angela have taken this concept as inspiration for an atmospheric moon-themed programme of baroque music, which celebrates the sound of the pure soprano voice, and the unique sound of ancient instruments, accompanied by a team of highly virtuosic instrumentalists.
This very special concert under The Moon will feature both well known and more diverse repertoire, spanning opera, oratorio, chamber music and song.
