About this Event
Housing Opportunities of Northern Delaware, Inc. (HOND) is proud to host our 41st Annual Fair Housing Awards Luncheon on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 12:00–2:00 PM at the DoubleTree by Hilton Downtown Wilmington (8th & King Streets, Wilmington, DE).
This year’s theme, “Fair Housing: Cyber Security – Homeowners/Tenants 101,” addresses one of the most pressing challenges facing communities today: how to ensure housing access and equity in a digital age where personal data, property transactions, and tenant information are increasingly vulnerable.
At the luncheon, we will come together to honor three exceptional leaders whose commitment to fair housing and community advancement has left a lasting impact across Delaware:
- Honorable Michelle Harlee, Wilmington City Council – Leon N. Weiner Award
- Honorable Zanthia Oliver, Wilmington City Council – Leon N. Weiner Award
- Gladys B. Spikes, Executive Director of HOND – Andrew Turner Award
Their leadership reflects the values of fairness, justice, and equity that HOND has championed for more than four decades.
Your $75 ticket includes:

- A full plated lunch and networking opportunities with housing advocates, community leaders, elected officials, and industry professionals
