Welcome welcome! Join the fae & fairy folk during our third year as we celebrate the fantastical arts of central IL. September 7th from 11am to 7pm we will be hosting the Autumn Court at Union Square Park in downtown Springfield IL! This will be an outdoor event, free and open to the public.
Schedule:
11am - The art market opens
12pm - Fairy and Mortal Tales; Poetry and Storytelling Open Mic hosted by Shatriya Smith
2pm - "Scavenger Hunt!" the Autumn Court presents an oportunity for gold and glory
3pm - "A Story of Light and Shadow" - a theatrical ballad written by Severyn Beekman and performed by The Pretty Peculiars & Company
4pm - "Battle of the Jesters" - a comedy show by Zwei Dumm in association with Capitol City Improv
5pm - "The Royal Costume Contest" - patrons are invited to seek the Autumn Queen's favor as they compete in one of two categories: Whimsical or Humorous
6pm- "The Summoning of the Autumn Spirit" - an interactive contest performed by the Fae Propaganda Team
7pm- The art market closes
