This program features two new Italian song cycles for classical guitar and tenor: Paolo Minetti’s “In memoria di Khayyám” based on 12th-century verses of the Persian poet and philosopher; and Corrado Margutti’s "Canzoni" which explores nine different poems, each in a different dialect of the Italian peninsula and its islands.Renowned CU Boulder College of Music faculty artists perform with students and colleagues in chamber music recitals featuring world premieres and beloved classics.
