Not only do you not need to buy a new lamp, pair of jeans, blender, or whatever else, you can have a hand in fixing it for the cost of parts and whatever else our help is worth to you.
Fixed by Flint is a program designed to reduce waste and empower everyone to fix their belongings. From furniture to clothes, electronics to xylophones our volunteers are willing to help give your items a second chance.
This program is set up to allow you to either hang out with us and help repair your item or just drop it off for our volunteers to try and figure it out.
We will provide glue, missing screws, and other supplies like those, and if the problem needs some specialty part please be sure to bring that with you. If you don't have it, we can work with you to figure out what exactly you need and where to get it, as well!
On that note, we want to say that we're very motivated to help you fix your problem. As is always the case, though, we might not be able to fix it.
Our non-profit status means that we can provide free events like this, but it also means that donations to help continue making the world a better place are always welcome.
