WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
BCIMO is a not-for-profit Research and Technology Organisation (RTO) and operator of the Very Light Rail National Innovation Centre (VLRNIC), a unique, world-class centre for rail innovation based in Dudley in the West Midlands.
This £32m multi-purpose centre, situated at the heart of the Black Country, offers a range of including a Rail Development and Test Site, Engineering Laboratories and Equipment, Meeting and Event Spaces and Serviced Offices and Meeting Rooms.
Due to popular demand, we will now be offering monthly tours of the Centre, which is an ideal opportunity for visitors to explore the site and facilities, and to ask questions about how BCIMO can help them and their business. The tours will take place on the first Wednesday of each month, from 10am to 12pm - for more information please take a look at the agenda.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
The tours are exclusively for professionals and businesses working in the rail sector, the broader transport sector with potential to diversify into rail, or those looking to explore the broad range of opportunities that this sector can offer, and so how BCIMO's facilities can be part of that developmental process. We also welcome academics and students working in the field.
