Facilitate 2023: Celebrating and sharing the diversity of facilitation

Two days bringing together people who facilitate groups, teams, meetings and everything in between. Exploring practical skills, peer learning, personal growth, business development, networking, facilitation as well as (hopefully) fun.

This conference is for anyone using (or wanting to use) facilitation and participatory processes to support their work or the work of others. This includes, among others:

• professional, self-confessed facilitators
• leaders and managers
• coaches and consultants

We are still developing the programme but below should give you a flavour of what we are thinking...

Growing: Personal Development and Reflection

Opportunities to reflect on, and enhance your personal practice.

Insight about running a business, or working in house.

Including: Diversity, inclusivity and lived experience

Ideas, methods and approaches to help make your practice more inclusive.

Interested in leading a session? We are keen to have a broad mix of expertise from both “old hands” and new faces. As part of our facilitation community we’d like to invite you to offer a session either by yourself, or co-facilitated with others.

Got an idea? Feeling inspired?! We will be sharing a form to submit your session idea soon.

This event is open to all who are active or interested in facilitation - brought to you by members and friends of the International Association of Facilitators (IAF) England and Wales, IAF Ireland and IAF Scotland.

We have a number of pricing options available, more information below:

• EARLY BIRD* - Full conference 2 day ticket (includes lunch and tea and coffee): £150
• EARLY BIRD* - 1 day ticket (includes lunch and tea and coffee): £110
• Full conference 2 day ticket (includes lunch and tea and coffee): £180
• 1 day ticket (includes lunch and tea and coffee): £130

EARLYBIRD* tickets are limited availability and will sell out so grab them early!

Concessionary rates and bursaries: For those experiencing financial difficulty at this time we have some limited bursary places and concessionary rates. Please read the information in this document which will tell you how you can access these or contact [email protected] if you have any questions. We will assess applications on a case by case basis.

Members discount: If you are an IAF member you can get an additional 25% discount on your early bird or full price ticket price using the members promo code at the checkout (see IAF members exclusive offers or email [email protected] for your promo code, if you haven’t received it).

Amendments and cancellations: All tickets must be purchased by 2pm 7th April 2023.

If you cancel your registration before midnight on Thursday 7th April, we will provide you with a full refund.

Cancelations after this time will not be refunded, except in exceptional circumstances on a case by case basis. Please contact [email protected]

Please note that we also reserve the right to cancel with no less than 7 days’ notice, without liability for any consequential or indirect loss. In this case, we will let you know by email and refund all tickets in full.
